Item Reviews
Your customers can leave reviews for the items bought from your store. You can choose to moderate these reviews, or allow all of them to be shown in your online store.
Preferences
Here’s how you can enable and configure item reviews for your store:
- Click Store Configurations on the left sidebar.
- Select Customer reviews under Preferences. The item review preferences will be listed in the Items tab.
Field | Description |

Enable Item Reviews | Enabling this will allow visitors to leave reviews for your products. |
Reviews Per Page | Choose the number of reviews to be displayed per page. The latest ones will be displayed on top. |
Email Notifications | Enable this to get an email notification for every review posted by your customer. |
Show Captcha | Mark the checkbox if you want the visitor to enter a captcha before leaving a comment. This is helpful as the users will be restricted from spamming automated comments. |
Allow Image Reviews | Enable this to let your customers post pictures as item reviews. |
Moderation | Moderation can be turned off, done automatically or manually. When you Turn off moderation, all the comments left by your visitors or customers will be displayed on your website. Under Manual moderation, you will have to manually approve the comments to be displayed on the website. If you select Automatic moderation, you can auto-approve or reject comments based on certain words. |
Allowed Users | You can decide who gets to leave a review. Verified buyers would be the customers verified by you and registered users are the ones that have signed up to your website. |
Product review reminder | You can send a reminder to your customers asking them for a product review. The email will be triggered once the delivery is complete. |
Allow photo reviews | Mark this checkbox to let your customers post pictures as the item review. |
Item Reviews
The product reviews tab under Reviews lists all the product reviews left by your customers and visitors. You can approve, mark them as spam, or mark them as inappropriate if you have selected manual moderation in review preferences.
Here’s how you can view the product reviews:
- Click Reviews on the left sidebar.
Blog Reviews
Your customers and visitors will be able to leave comments once you publish a blog. These can be viewed in the Blog tab under Reviews.

Comment Box
You can add a comment box on your website which the visitors and customers will use to give feedback. All the comments received will be displayed in the comment box tab under Reviews.
