Menu
You can customize your online store’s menu to make navigation simpler for your customers by adding menu items, creating and linking mega menus, and so much more. A menu has one or more menu items that help your customers navigate your store. These menu items can be collections, categories, pages, or any items of your online store.
Add Menu
Scenario: Patricia runs a fashion store where she sells shoes, shirts, bags, and other fashion accessories. She has three different collections- summer collection, men’s collection, and travel essentials. With the Menu feature in Zoho Commerce, she can customise the menu of her online store and highlight any collection of her choice for easy access.
Here’s how you add a menu to your online store:
- Click Menu under Storefront.
- Click + New in the top right corner and enter a name for the menu.
- Click + Menu Item and select the item type.

Edit Menu
Here’s how you can edit a menu:
- Click Menu under Storefront.
- Hover over the menu you wish to make changes to and click Edit.
- Once you’ve made the necessary changes, click Save.
Mark As Default
If you have created more than one menu, the default menu will be the one that will be displayed on your online store. You can switch default menus anytime. Here’s how you mark a menu as default:
- Click Menu under Storefront.
- Hover over the required menu and click Edit.
- Click More in the top right corner and select Mark as Default.
Delete Menu
Note: You cannot delete a menu that has been marked as a default menu since it will be actively displayed on your online store.
You can delete any menu that is not a default menu. Here’s how:
- Click Menu under Storefront.
- Hover over the menu item you wish to delete and click Delete.
Mega Menu
A mega menu can be linked to individual menu items. You can add as many menu items as you want to give your customers an overview of different items on your online store just by viewing the menu.
Add Mega Menu
You can add a mega menu and link it to any of your menu items. To do so:
- Click Menu under Storefront and navigate to the Mega Menu tab.
- Click + New in the top right corner.
- Enter a mega menu name. The menu name will only be used internally and will not be displayed anywhere on your online store.
- Each mega menu has a layout that is split column-wise. You can change the mega menu layout by clicking Change Layout.
- After adding the menu items, click Save.
Mega menu will be created, and you can link it to a menu of your choice.
Link Mega Menu
You can link your mega menu to any of your menu items. To do so:
- Click Menu under Storefront and navigate to the Menu tab.
- Hover over any menu and click Edit.
- Hover over any of the menu items and click Link Mega Menu.
The mega menu will be linked to the menu item. This will be shown in your online store after you publish the changes.
Edit Mega Menu
Here’s how you can edit a mega menu:
- Click Menu under Storefront and navigate to the Mega Menu tab.
- Hover over a mega menu and click Edit.
- Make the necessary changes and click Save.
Delete Mega Menu
Warning: You cannot retrieve a mega menu once you delete it.
You can delete a mega menu if you no longer use it. To do so:
- Click Menu under Storefront and navigate to the Mega Menu tab.
- Hover over a mega menu and click Delete.
The mega menu will be deleted permanently.
