Offline Payments
You can accept offline payments like Cash on Delivery, cheque, UPI, bank/wire transfer, etc. Zoho Commerce supports multiple Offline payment methods.
Set Up Offline Payments
To set up Offline Payment methods in your organisation
- Go to Settings in the top right corner
- Select Payment Gateways under Integrations.
- Click Set up Now next to Offline Payments.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Label | You can give a label for your preferred mode of payment |
Minimum eligible amount | Enter a minimum amount eligible for the particular payment method |
Maximum eligible amount | Enter a maximum amount eligible for the particular payment method |
Additional Charges | Select your preferred radio button and enter the amount in the field below if you charge an extra amount for this payment. |
Restrict to certain shipping zones | Check this box if you want to restrict this payment method to certain shipping zones. |
- Click Save.
Collect Customer Payments
Here’s how you can start receiving payments from your customers:
Enable Payment Options
Your customers can pay you through Offline, if you’ve enabled an offline method as a payment option in your online store.
To enable the Offline Payment method as a payment option:
- Click Settings in the top right corner.
- Go to Payment Gateways under Integrations & Marketplace.
- Click Checkout Preferences next to Offline Payments and enable Show in Store.
- Add any payment related instruction in the Payment information to Customer in Storefront textbox, so that it will be displayed on the checkout page.
- Click Save to finish.
Receive Payments from Customers
After you’ve enabled Offline Payments in the payment options, your customers can pay for their orders using Offline Payments during checkout.
To make payments, your customers will have to:
- Visit your online store and add items to the cart.
- Click View Cart and select Checkout.
- Enter Address and click Continue.
- Select the Offline Payment Method that you’ve created under Payment Options.
- Check the I accept the terms and conditions box and click Make Payment.
- Once the payment is successful, you will receive an email regarding the online payment made by your customer, and the order’s status will be marked as paid.
Delete Offline Payment
If you don’t want your customers to pay you through the Offline method that you’ve set up, you can delete it. To delete the an Offline Payment method that you’ve set up:
- Click Settings in the top right corner.
- Select Payment Gateways under Integrations & Marketplace.
- Click the Delete icon next to Offline Payments.
- Click Delete to confirm.
You have successfully deleted the offline payment method.
