Pages
The pages module in Zoho Commerce lists the pages of your online store. You can manage pages, directories, comments, and much more.
Add Page
To add a new page to your online store:
- Go to Pages under Storefront.
- Click + New.
- Enter the necessary details.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Page Name | Enter a page name. |
Page URL | Page URL will be auto-generated based on the page name. |
Set as Home Page | Mark this checkbox if you want this page to be the home page of your website. |
Page Title | Enter a SEO title for this page. This title will be displayed during search results. |
Keywords | Enter relevant SEO keywords for this page. The keywords entered will determine the ranking of the page during search results. |
Description | The description will be displayed under the page title during search results. |
Robots (noindex) | Noindex tag tells search engines to not display the page in search results. This is helpful if you are adding a page like terms and conditions, or security and compliance that is specific to your store and its users. |
Robots (nofollow) | Nofollow tag tells search engines to not follow the links. In other words, once the user moves from your website to a different page on a different website, the nofollow tag restricts the indexing of the new page. |
Robots (noarchive) | Noarchive tag tells search engines to not store a cached copy of the page in the user’s browser. Generally, the data is cached in the user’s website to enhance the website performance. |
Sitemap XML | Mark this checkbox if you want to include this page in the sitemap. Sitemap XML is a file that lists a website’s essential pages (which are then identified by the crawlers) and helps them rank better on search results. |
Change Frequency | Sitemap change frequency tells search engines how frequently the page updates. You can choose always for a home page, which is updated frequently, and yearly for a page like terms and conditions which is not updated very frequently. |
Priority | Select a value and assign it to your pages to tell a search engine how important one page is relative to another. However, the comparison is only between the pages of your website. |
