Zoho Community
Zoho Community is a collaborative space for customers, developers, and partners ("Community Members") to share knowledge, seek and give peer support, and exchange feedback and ideas related to Zoho's suite of online business, productivity and collaboration services ("Zoho Services"). You can follow any Community Member, topic, or discussion related to Zoho services to stay engaged with the content that is most relevant to you, and stay connected with the peers from your domain or city.
What You Should Not Do
You should :
Not be disrespectful or abusive towards other Community Members. You should be respectful, inclusive, and treat everyone courteously.
Not use vulgar or offensive language, and we encourage you to use professional language.
Not engage in or encourage hatred, discrimination, prejudice, harassment, bullying, threats or violence towards anyone based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, or any other characteristic.
Not post generic topics or content irrelevant to Zoho Services.
Not spam or flood Zoho Community with duplicate posts or repetitive comments, in any manner. You can post a reasonable number of comments in a particular topic so that other Community Members can contribute meaningfully.
Not revive old or inactive threads or discussions solely for the purpose of promoting your extensions, products, or services.
Not share any prohibited or illegal material, including content that is libelous, defamatory, harassing, misleading, obscene, harassing, divisive, or otherwise objectionable.
Not engage in or encourage illegal software distribution, cracking, DRM-circumvention, or other unlawful activities.
Not share anything that violates someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or other IP—unless you have explicit permission.
Not post or share any links, uploads, or code containing viruses, spyware, adware, worms, Trojan horses, time-bombs, or other malicious software.
Not use automated scraping by using bots, scripts, or spiders.
Not engage in denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, or attempt to bypass security measures on the Zoho Community.
Not impersonate or deceive another person or entity. However, you are allowed to use pseudonyms as your user name.
Not make any references to competitor's products if it shifts focus away from Zoho Services, and does not add value to the community discussions.
Not make negative, dismissive or disparaging remarks about competitors. You should keep the conversations respectful and solution-focused when making references to competitors' products or services. We also encourage you to engage in constructive comparisons by presenting a factual, balanced, and fair analysis of the strengths and limitations of both the solutions.
Not use Zoho's name, logos, or trademarks in your profile or content in a way that suggests that Zoho endorses you, unless explicitly permitted by Zoho.
Not choose a username that is offensive, confusing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
Not add signatures that are lengthy, irrelevant, and consist more than one hyperlink or links to irrelevant third party sites, including links to third-party extensions not published in Zoho Marketplace. You can provide the hyperlink of a single landing page where you can list multiple pages that you believe add value to Zoho Community discussions.
Not promote independent community initiatives within Zoho Community and endorse any unofficial channels of communication like chat rooms, discussion forums, or social media-based communities within Zoho Community.
Not disclose publicly any information, privileges, or features that are made available to you exclusively and are otherwise unknown or unavailable to other Community Members. Any disclosure may result in revocation of such privileges or features.
Not post any long content that replicates a blog post and that is shared solely for the purpose of advertising or self-promotion, except when authorized by Zoho.
Not promote or endorse products, services or websites solely for personal, commercial or affiliate gain, including but not limited to posting unsolicited links, promotional messages, or referral codes that do not add value to the discussion. However, referencing such third party products or services is permitted if they directly address the issue being discussed.
Not doxx or collect personal or sensitive data.

Ask for and offer help to other Community Members, and contribute your own experience to help others.
Follow and engage with other Community Members, topics, or threads that interest you.
Search for existing threads to check if a similar topic or issue has already been addressed, before starting a new discussion.
Post in the topics or discussions where Community Members are actively seeking solutions. Provide a clear explanation or summary of the solution within your post or comment for any query, instead of relying solely on hyperlinks to external websites, blogs or third party platforms. You can use these links to substantiate your point.
Not include any personal information that identifies you in your posts or comments, except when required to establish the authenticity of your content.
Alerts and Notifications
When you follow a community member, topic, or a discussion, you will receive related email notifications. You have the option to unfollow or manage your email preferences at any time by logging into your account and accessing the notification settings. This is a self-service feature, and changes to your email preferences must be made by you through your account.
Feature Requests and Community Value
If you author a post related to new feature request, please be aware that such post may generate valuable feedback and discussions from other Community Members. In certain instances, when your post which has garnered significant and valuable community engagement is deleted, Zoho may restore your posts in a manner that retains community responses to the post, while making the original content of your post no longer visible to other Community Members. In such cases, Zoho will notify you about such restoration. If you prefer not to be personally associated with such posts, you can use a pseudonym as your profile name. You also have the option to opt out of receiving notifications about such posts by updating your notification settings.
Customer Support Expectations
Zoho Community is designed to facilitate peer-to-peer engagement and collaborative knowledge sharing among Community Members. Zoho Community is not a substitute for Zoho’s official support channels.Zoho may not be able to respond to service-related queries posted on the Zoho Community within the response timelines defined under Zoho’s standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs) applicable to chat, email, or phone support. Response times may vary depending on the nature of the query and the level of community involvement. If you expect to connect with Zoho support personnel, always use official support channels provided by Zoho.
User Content
Your content will be publicly accessible on the Internet and may be crawled and indexed by search engines. Any content that you share on the Zoho Community is not considered confidential by Zoho. You must take full responsibility for the content you post, including any consequences that may arise from its publication. You are responsible for ensuring that you do not accidentally make any private or sensitive content publicly available. Zoho may block access to or remove any content made available by you if such content is Zoho receives complaints concerning any illegality or infringement of third party rights in such content.
Third Party Content
Zoho Community may contain comments, suggestions, opinions, links, etc posted by other Community Members ("Third Party Content"). Third Party Content is not under the control of Zoho, and Zoho is not responsible for the accuracy, copyright compliance, legality, decency, or any other aspect of such Third Party Content. Moreover, Zoho may not be able to monitor or verify any Third Party Content on Zoho Community. Zoho does not endorse or approve any statements expressed by the Community Members. The views and opinions expressed by the Community Members are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of Zoho. Zoho is not liable for any loss or damage arising from, or in connection with, your reliance on any content posted on the Zoho Community.
Content License
By submitting your content on the Zoho Community, which may include any ideas, materials, documents or other information, you grant Zoho a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable license and right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, transmit, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, and publicly perform your content. This includes the right to implement or incorporate into the Zoho Services any idea, suggestion for enhancement, correction, or any other feedback that you provide on the Zoho Community, without compensation to you.
Change of Account
To ensure clarity and consistency, we recommend using a single account when participating in the Zoho Community. Using multiple accounts may create confusion and disrupt communication. If you lose access to your official account, such as in the event of leaving your organization, you are advised to sign up for Zoho Community using an alternative, valid email address that you own and control. Zoho will not entertain requests to provide you with access to content posted under your previous account. Zoho is not responsible for editing or removing content posted through the account that you no longer have access to.
Disclaimer of Warranties
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE USE OF ZOHO COMMUNITY IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ZOHO COMMUNITY IS PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS-AND-AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. ZOHO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH REGARD TO ZOHO COMMUNITY AND ZOHO COMMUNITY CONTENT, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ZOHO MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT ZOHO COMMUNITY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR VIRUS FREE. Limitation of Liability
YOU AGREE THAT ZOHO SHALL, IN NO EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER OR FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER FAILURE, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ZOHO COMMUNITY, EVEN IF ZOHO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY DISPUTE WITH ZOHO RELATED TO ZOHO COMMUNITY SHALL BE TERMINATION OF ZOHO COMMUNITY . IN NO EVENT SHALL ZOHO’S ENTIRE LIABILITY TO YOU IN RESPECT OF ZOHO COMMUNITY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, EXCEED $1000.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zoho, its officers, directors, employees, suppliers, and affiliates, from and against any losses, damages, fines and expenses (including attorney's fees and costs) arising out of or relating to any claims that you have used the Zoho Community in violation of another party's rights, in violation of any law, in violations of any provisions of these Community Guidelines, or any other claim related to your use of Zoho Community.
Enforcement of Zoho Community Guidelines
Zoho reserves the right to remove any content from the Zoho Community at its sole discretion, if Zoho determines that the content is in violation of the Zoho Community Guidelines or is otherwise deemed inappropriate for any reason. Zoho also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Zoho Community upon reasonable belief that you have violated these Zoho Community Guidelines or you have misused Zoho Community in any way. If you come across any content that you think is violative of Zoho Community Guidelines, you can report such violations to us by writing to community-team@zohocorp.com.
Modification of Community Guidelines
Zoho may modify the Zoho Community Guidelines at any time without anynotice to you. You are responsible for periodically reviewing these guidelines. Your continued use of the Zoho Community after the effective date of any change to the Zoho Community Guidelines will be deemed to be your agreement to such modified guidelines.
