# What are the things that I need to be aware of while enabling LOP Sync?

LOP Sync allows you to push the attendance details in Zoho People to Zoho Payroll. This ensures accurate payroll calculations every month. Ensure the following before enabling LOP Sync for your organisation.

*   The **Pay Period** in Zoho People must match the **Pay Schedule** in Zoho Payroll.
*   The **Processing Day** (which is the cut-off date to generate the LOP report) in Zoho People should be on or before the **Payday** in Zoho Payroll.
*   You will not be able to approve your pay run in Zoho Payroll before the **Processing Day**.
*   LOP sync will happen only for the employees who belong to the selected Pay Period.
