# How do I download or export employees to my device?

Here’s how you can export employees:

*   Go to **Employees** on the left sidebar.
*   Click the **More** icon in the top right corner and click **Export**.
*   Select the type of employee details you want to export.
*   Filter the employees based on their status.
*   Select the file format.
*   Select **Protect this file with a password** if you want to restrict access to the file and ensure that only authorized individuals can access the file.
*   Click **Export.**
