# Can I make a salary template and assign it to a employees?

Yes, you can create a salary template and assign it to a group of employees with the same salary structure, saving you time and effort.

Here’s how you can create a salary template:

*   Go to _Settings_ and select **Salary Templates**.
*   Click **Create New**.
*   Enter a **Template Name** and **Description** for the template.
*   To add earnings to the template, click the + icon next to the respective component.
*   Enter the percentage or amount for each component.
*   Click **Save**.

Once you have created the template, you can associate it with employees when you add them through the Employee module.
