# When I try to update my portal name, I receive a message stating that the name is already taken. What should I do?

You will receive this error if you try to update your portal name, but the name trying to use is already taken by another Zoho Books organization. The portal name in Zoho Books is unique, and you need to specify another name for your portal if you encounter this error.
