Why and how?

Exactly four years ago, we started simple as a team with one vision: to unify and simplify marketing operations for marketers across industries. At Zoho, we have dedicated marketing tools across every function. Marketing Plus brings them all into one unified space, so teams move faster without switching context. We began by resonating with how marketers actually think; not in terms of tools, but campaigns. For a campaign to work, it needs to flow smoothly; every channel needs to talk to the others. That's how Marketing Plus was born.

Four years of bringing it all together

Four years of watching teams use Marketing Plus taught us one thing: Channel preference is brand-specific, but campaign success is collective. One team member owns email while another owns a different channel, but the campaign only works when both are in sync. That sync is what we quietly built for. What started as a simple idea slowly expanded, and today Marketing Plus covers every pillar channel a marketer needs:

In a world where everything is moving faster, we wanted Marketing Plus to help marketers focus on what actually matters and let Zia, Zoho's AI assistant, take care of the rest. Currently, Zia simplifies marketing operations by taking care of the hardest parts and in various ways:

  • Campaign assistant - Zia helps you plan, generate, and tailor campaigns the way you need them and when you need them.
  • Social media assistant - Zia writes posts, captions, and replies so your brand stays active without burning out your team.
  • Content assistant - Zia keeps up with SEO, generates webpage copy, and even helps with presentations.
  • Data analyst - Zia builds dashboards on demand, surfaces trends, and answers your questions before you have to dig for the answers yourself.

Four years in, Zia fulfills our promise of simplification: less manual work, more meaningful work.

Metrics that push us to keep building

  • Marketers aren't slowing down. Month after month, you're kicking off over 3,700 projects, which works out to a new project being created somewhere every 12 minutes.
  • If there's one thing marketers love, it's getting things done. You create close to 10,000 activities every month; or, put another way, more than 300 a day.
  • Planning ahead is becoming second nature. Marketers are spinning up a fresh calendar nearly every day to make sure their campaigns are mapped out and ready to go.
