Mail Agents in ZeptoMail are now called Agents!

This change represents an important step in how we’re thinking about the future of ZeptoMail—and the role Agents will play in it. This change marks an important milestone in our journey toward building a more flexible, future-ready communication platform.
Why the change?
When we first introduced Mail Agents, the name perfectly described what they did: they helped you manage, monitor, and automate email-related workflows.
Over time, their role has expanded—and so has our vision for ZeptoMail.
We’re building for a future where ZeptoMail goes beyond its current scope—supporting more communication capabilities, smarter automation, and deeper integrations across systems. By renaming them to simply Agents, we’re expanding the context and making room for what’s coming next.
This change aligns with our long-term product architecture and our goal of building a communication platform that is comprehensive.
What does the change mean for you?
Agents still do everything that Mail Agents did—no functionality is changing.
They continue to:
Segment emails
Manage domains
Display email logs
Show email templates
Enable email tracking
To be clear:
Your existing setups remain intact
No action is required from your side
Behavior, configurations, and workflows work exactly as before
This is a naming update, not a functional one.
We’re excited about what this change enables and look forward to sharing more as we continue to expand what Agents can do.
