Notifications, text box comments, and improved find & replace for paragraphs

We're back with more new additions to Zoho Writer to make your writing and collaboration experience easier. If you missed our previous post on table formatting improvements, you can catch up here. Here's a quick look at what's new:

1. In-app notifications in Zoho Writer

Get notified of comments, edits, @mentions and comment replies directly in Zoho Writer. You no longer have to check your email for edit, comment, and @mention alerts from Writer. You will now be notified of any comments and changes:

2. Comment on text inside a text box

Collaborating on a document? You can now add comments to text inside a text box. Use the shortcut Command + Option + M (Mac) or Control + Alt + M (Windows), or simply select the text and click the Comment icon from the pinnable toolbar.

3. Find and replace paragraphs

Easily merge paragraphs and insert text between them using the find and replace paragraph feature in Zoho Writer. You can perform the following actions with this feature.

• Merge multiple paragraphs
• Insert text between paragraphs
• Merge paragraphs that end with a specific character, word, or phrase
• Merge paragraphs ending with a character, word, or phrase and insert text between them
