How can I delete custom fields?

The fields that you have created can be deleted, in case you do not require them. Please note that standard fields cannot be deleted and when you delete a custom field, the associated data will also be deleted from Zoho Recruit. If you do not want to delete the field, you can hide it so that it is not used by users. 

To delete custom fields:

  1. Click Setup > Customization > Fields.
    Module refers to the Candidates, Clients, Contacts, etc. tabs.
  2. Select the module from the drop-down list.
    All the existing fields in the selected module will be listed.
  3. Click the Delete link for the corresponding field that you want to delete.
    A pop-up window with warning message is displayed. 
  4. Read the instructions in the pop-up window and then click Yes, Delete now to delete the field.
