How can I do an advanced search?

With the advanced search option, you can search records in two ways.

 

To search records by criteria:

  1. Click the [Module] tab
  2. In the [Module] home page, click the Search icon.
  3. In the Search drop-down list, click Advanced Search.
    Advanced Search page is displayed.
  4. Click the Criteria Search tab.
  5. In the Criteria Search section, you can do the following:
    1. Select the module.
    2. Enter Keywords in the respective fields.
  6. Choose the option as to who can see this view.
  7. Specify your criteria.
  8. Click Search.
    The search results are displayed. 
 

To perform a custom search:

  1. Click the [Module] tab
  2. In the [Module] home page, click the Search icon.
  3. In the Search drop-down list, click Advanced Search.
    Advanced Search page is displayed.
  4. Click the Custom Search tab.
  5. In the Custom Search section, you can do the following:
    1. Select the module.
    2. Enter All Keywords with Criteria in the respective field.
      For example: (Java AND J2EE) OR (.NET AND C) 
    3. Select the checkbox(es) to restrict the search to the respective sections.
  6. Choose the option as to who can see this view.
  7. Click Search.
    The search results are displayed. 
 

Note: Module refers to the Candidates, Contacts, Clients etc. tabs. Only records from the selected modules will be listed.
