How can I schedule interviews?
In Zoho Recruit, you can schedule interviews in two ways:
General Interview: This applies for job openings and candidates.
Specific to a Job Opening: This applies to candidates who have the related skill set, associated a specific job opening.
To schedule a general interview:
- Click Interviews tab.
- Click Schedule Interview, located at the upper right panel. Schedule Interview page is displayed.
- Click the Edit Page Layout link, located at the upper right corner to make changes to the page layout.
- Enter details in the following mandatory fields:
- Interview Name: Title for the interview
- CandidateName :The candidate with whom the interview needs to be conducted. (You can do this by directly typing a name or by using the Candidate Name Lookup function to search for the candidate in the database)
- From: Enter the Start date and time in this field.
Also, you can enter details in other fields that you require.
- Click Save or click Save & New if you want to immediately add another client to the database.
To schedule interview for a job opening:
- Click Job Openings tab.
- Click the Job Opening for which the interview needs to be scheduled.
- The Job Opening details page is displayed.
- Under the Interviews section, click the New link.

- Interview Name: Title for the interview
- Candidate Name : The candidate with whom the interview needs to be conducted. (You can do this by directly typing a name or by using the Candidate Name Lookup function to search for the candidate in the database)
- From: Enter the Start date and time in this field.
- Also, you can enter details in other fields that you require.
- Click Save or click Save & New if you want to immediately add another client to the database.
The interview is scheduled for the selected job opening.
Note: Field names appearing in red and marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
